2019-07-31EGFR exon-19 747–750 deletion mutant genotype represents a risk factor for the development of lung cancer with individuals with this mutation being 2.64 times more likely to develop the disease. According to our study results, the EGFR exon-19 747–750 deletion mutant genotype frequencies did not differ significantly between the histological tissue types, while smoking, male sex, and old age were found to be the most significant risk factors for the development of lung cancer
